Would you like whiter teeth? At our dental practice in Zurich, we can make your wish come true using a bleaching method tailored to your individual needs. Today, it has been scientifically proven that controlled bleaching does not damage your teeth.
Depending on the individual requirements of our patients, we can offer the following range of methods to combat discolouration at our dental practice in Zurich:
Home Bleaching to correct slight discolourations
You can conduct these bleaching sessions in the comfort of your own home. We provide you with an individual mouthguard filled with a bleaching agent to wear for a few hours each day. This method produces whiter teeth within a few days.
Beware of ‘Do-it-yourself-Bleaching’ options, however. Without our professional guidance, you run the risk of damaging your teeth and gums. Also, in the case of persistent discolouration, the results are far less satisfying than those of a ‘power bleaching’ session at our practice. We can give you whiter teeth without any risks in a very short time!
In-Surgery Bleaching / Power Bleaching
In preparation for the bleaching session, all soft tissue is covered and protected with a rubber guard. Then, the bleaching agent, a hydrogen peroxide gel, is applied to the surface of the teeth. Its effects are accelerated through the use of plasma light. Within a short time, teeth appear whiter overall and can be colour-matched specifically to purposely lighter veneers or crown restorations. In total, the treatment takes approximately 90 minutes and can last for a minimum of two years.
To ensure that your teeth are as bright as you wish, our team of experts in aesthetic dentistry and dental hygiene will give you all the advice you need.
Discolouration of individual teeth
Do you have a tooth that isn’t quite as white as the others and takes away from your beautiful smile? This can happen especially in the case of non-vital, i.e. dead, teeth. In our dental practice in Zurich, our experts who specialise in aesthetic dentistry or can solve this problem for you. To whiten a dead tooth, a special bleaching agent is inserted into the inside of the tooth to whiten the tooth from the inside out. This enables us to restore your beautiful smile.
